Connection Guide for Wind Solar Hybrid System
Since solar panels cannot generate electricity at night or on rainy days, many people have turned their attention to small wind turbines. Wind turbines are not a new concept, but their application in household new energy projects and small industrial-commercial projects is a relatively new topic.
As a sales engineer active in the sales of new energy power generation systems, I know the needs of many customers, their actual installation experiences, and the circuit connection logic of various installers.
There are currently two common connection methods for wind solar hybrid system. One is that the wind turbine is connected to the grid-connected controller and directly inputs into the MPPT input port of the hybrid inverter. The other is that the wind turbine passes through the off-grid controller and is connected to the battery, and then the battery communicates with the system inverter.

MPPT Input Connection Precautions
1. There must be a battery in the wind solar hybrid system.
2. The inverter has the function of closing the automatic voltage mode or the wind power mode.
3. The power of the wind turbine is less than the rated power of the single path MPPT of the inverter.
4. The output voltage range of the wind turbine must be completely within the working voltage window of the MPPT.
Battery Connection Precautions
1. The charging voltage of the battery in the system needs to match the output voltage of the controller.
2. The customer's inverter model is unknown, and there is no function of closing the automatic voltage mode or the wind power mode.
