Integrated Wind Solar Storage and Charging Station

With the rise of the new energy vehicle industry, our customers have also seen new demands, namely using a complementary wind and solar system to not only meet household electricity needs but also power new energy vehicles.

A German customer mentioned to me that many people there use BYD electric cars. On average, they charge their cars twice a week, using over thirty kilowatt-hours each time. Since they usually charge at night, this system needs to operate almost continuously both day and night. It’s like building a small charging station at home.

By installing photovoltaic panels on building roofs and carports, along with small pillar-style wind turbines, solar and wind energy are continuously converted into green electricity. The green electricity generated by the photovoltaic/wind system is prioritized for use in the charging station, achieving on-site green power consumption; the storage system consumes the remaining electricity, connects to the grid, charges during off-peak times, and discharges externally when needed. This is the Integrated Wind Solar Storage and Charging Station, a new type of charging station that combines photovoltaic/wind power generation, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging systems.

Compared with traditional new energy vehicle charging stations, integrated wind solar storage and charging stations demonstrate higher flexibility, environmental friendliness, and scientific efficiency.
